Jio World Plaza – One stop for all Luxury Brands

The Reliance group by Mukesh Ambani recently launched India’s biggest luxury mall, Jio World Plaza, in Mumbai, looking to redefine urban luxury at its core.

Covering an impressive 750,000 square feet and stretching across four spacious floors, this mall currently hosts 24 high-end luxury brand stores. And here’s the exciting part: they’re gearing up to introduce a whopping 42 more outlets between November and April. This includes some global brands making their debut in the Indian market, so you can look forward to a truly international shopping experience.

The Jio World Plaza isn’t just your typical luxury shopping spot; it’s also a jaw-dropping architectural wonder. The brilliant minds from the US-based TVS and the Reliance team came together to create this masterpiece, drawing inspiration from the graceful lotus flower and elements of nature.

As you stroll through, you’ll be captivated by the flagship stores of iconic brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Cartier, Dior, Bulgari, and Muji, all exuding a grand presence. And the excitement doesn’t stop there – international favorites such as Valentino, Versace, and Tiffany & Co. are getting ready to welcome shoppers very soon. It’s a shopping experience that’s as impressive as it is luxurious!

Store managers and staff have been thrilled to see a steady increase in the number of visitors pouring in by the hour, including luxury enthusiasts and fashion lovers.

One of the standout features at the plaza is the Paul & Shark store, a renowned Italian luxury fashion brand known for its yachting-inspired clothing and accessories. They’ve created something unique here – it’s the brand’s very first global experiential ice room. In this cool space, customers can actually try on their stylish jackets, which range from ₹70,000 to ₹2 lakh.

The manager of Muji India is equally excited, mentioning that this is their biggest store in India, covering an impressive 12,000 square feet. They’ve got a dedicated team of 30 executives, all ready to serve their customers. No need to worry about awareness either – buyers are well-informed about what they want, and they’re actively heading to our stores.

Mitrajit Bhattacharya, a true luxury aficionado and the founder and president of The Horologists, was lucky enough to be at the Plaza for an exclusive preview on October 31st. He shared his thoughts, saying, “This is a fantastic development for the luxury industry. The growth of India’s luxury market really depends on places like these luxury malls taking root.” It’s a positive sign for the future!

Dior is opening its very first men’s clothing store here, marking a special debut. But that’s not all! Louis Vuitton is gearing up to launch their new flagship store, and it’s going to be the largest international luxury outlet in India. And for the little ones, there’s a delightful surprise too – a pop-up store for Ed-A-Mamma, the children’s clothing brand by the talented Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt. There’s something for everyone to look forward to!

Staying true to her trademark minimalistic style, she left her shoulder-length hair in a skillfully disheveled side part and flaunted a subtle nude manicure. Her makeup palette showcased a neutral-toned eyeshadow base with a touch of shimmer, harmonizing with her lip color. Deepika Padukone radiated sheer perfection in a stunning Louis Vuitton dress in a sophisticated shade of grey. Her smoky glam was nothing short of exquisite. She showcased a mesmerizing grey-blue shimmer eyeshadow with a smoky winged effect, paired with a natural nude lip and a touch of bronzer to enhance her features. Her hair was elegantly gathered in a tousled knot at the nape of her neck, with loose tendrils framing her face to add depth. The ensemble was tastefully completed with glossy, stiletto-shaped black nails, creating an overall captivating and alluring look.

Sara Ali Khan, exuding the allure of a radiant golden goddess, graced the runway as she walked for Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla in a chic two-piece outfit. Her makeup palette was a work of art, featuring a sultry cat-eye wing with a lustrous golden shimmer foundation. A peach-toned glossy lip added a touch of elegance, while expertly applied highlighter and contour brought out her best features. Completing the look was a casually elegant top knot with a middle part, accompanied by softly cascading strands framing her face, adding a touch of grace to her overall appearance

When Nora Fatehi, the mesmerizing dancer, graced the runway for Manish Malhotra, she became the center of attention. Dressed in a sheer red saree with a sequined blouse, bearing the designer’s unmistakable signature style, and a dramatic sheer red cape, she infused a monochrome charm into this glittering event. The saree and cape featured a harmonious tone-on-tone foliage design, adding a festive touch to herald the most wonderful time of the year. Completing the ensemble, her sleek and silky brown hair handled the beauty aspect with finesse. A subtle touch of green in her earrings was all it took to get ready to shine and sparkle for the season.
